Full transparency: Dave got rekt. More than once. 😩
He had 1.3 Bitcoin in one cycle and sold it for another asset. He came back in 2023, dollar cost averaged through the whole bear market, didn't look at it, and finished the year with half a Bitcoin. Then sold again. He'd be sitting on 1.8 BTC if he'd just held.
Everybody who's been in this long enough has that story. Dave's take: that's exactly why he stopped trying to be clever and just DCAs on a schedule now.
